Why do we sometimes love people who can't love us back the same?
Why do we have to go through missing something we never had?
Why do jobs sometimes take unexpected turns?
Why do we get sick when we just had a great weekend full of inspiration?
Why do we have to watch others get the desires of YOUR heart and not appreciate it?
Roman 5:1-5
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; By whom also we have access by faith into his grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. And not only so but we glory in tribulations also; knowing that tribulations worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience hope; and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."
We are justified by faith..which brings peace...we rejoice in hope...glory in tribulations...which bring patience...which gives us experience...which builds hope. So hope is an expectation based on experience.
So that is what it means when we hear all these things shall be for our good
(D&C 98:3)!
