Details

My awareness of God being in the details of my life has been heightened as of late.

Here are three examples of how I know God in the details of our lives, because those that love me are aware of me and my needs, down to the smallest of details.

First, my birthday surprise.

This is Michelle and I on our recent cruise to the Mexican Riviera.

(We are probably the most confident pair of friends I know! Although Shaleen and Chanda rank high on the list as well. )

On my birthday morning I woke up and decided to go for a walk outside. When I opened my door I discovered this...

I knew it was Michelle because it says- "Happy Birthday Sexy Chick, Say Oh Yeah!"

It was one of my favorite birthday gifts because it was so personal.

Second, another birthday surprise.

Last year I declared myself an artist. My brother got me an array of canvas to paint on. It was my other art oriented gift that surprised me. My dad got me a portable easel to paint on.

My dad really does know me well.

Third, my apartment was heart-attacked. When I walked into my apartment after the cruise, this is what I found.

All over the kitchen, on walls, behind doors, in closets, on mirrors.

 My favorites are these:

"Life, Bring it on! Life, bring it on!"

"Let me see those Biceps!"

Today I took them all off and put them on my closet door in my bedroom.

The culprits were my parents. It was a very timely surprise... in a moment I surely needed it. The comments they left on the hearts witnessed to me of the attention my parents pay to the details of my life. I must be a princess, because I am daughter of a queen!

 I am one lucky woman!

Jesus Forgives Sins and Heals a Man Stricken with Palsy

Something I learned from this story that I have never noticed by reading it... the man not only had faith to be healed, but his friends had faith. They carried him to the place where Jesus was, then they opened up the roof to let him down when the crowd was to much to carry him in through the door.
It reminds me of 3 Nephi 17:9- 10

"...afflicted in any manner and he did heal them, every one as they ere brought forth unto him. And they did all, both they who had been healed and they who were whole, bow down at his feet and did worship him..."

The sick and afflicted both physically and spiritually need those who are whole to bring them to Christ, and all will be made whole! We all need each other in order to come unto Christ and be made whole.

There I was...

There I was...

carrying my new pillow to purchase in JcPenney

and I heard it

that ring tone

or so I thought

it was just the song playing overhead in the store

but those first 5 notes my brain knows well

like Pavlovs Dog

my heart skipped a beat

thinking he was calling

but he wasn't

he doesn't call me

I don't call him

but there I was in the middle of the store

and my heart stopped for just a moment

and I missed him
