Song Lyric Wisdom

The wisdom of Jack Johnson and Colbie Caillat...

Slow down everyone you’re moving to fast

Frames can’t catch you when you’re moving like that

Move like a jellyfish,

Rhythm don't mean nothing,

You go with the flow, you don't stop.

If you would only listen,

You might just realize what you’re missing,

You’re missing me.

You left a mark

I wear it proudly on my chest

Above my heart,

To remind me that I’m my best

When I’m with you

Everything seems effortless

You’re making me weak with the way you look through those eyes.

Back up, back up, take another chance

Don’t you mess up, mess up

I don’t want to lose you

Wake up, wake up,

This ain’t a thing that you give up, give up

Don’t’ just leave me hanging on!

I found a boy who had a dream, making everyone smile.

He was sunshine, I fell over, my feet like bricks, under water

And how am I suppose to tell you how I feel? I need oxygen!

Oh I just can’t get enough,

How much do I need to fill me up?

It feels so good it must be love!

…My heart is filled with you!

Born to Fly!

Thursday...job interview
Saturday...graduate!
Monday...job offer
Tuesday...accept job offer!

Abundantly blessed! I am so excited. This summer has had one event after another fall into place. Here is one of my favorite songs again... it about sums it up! I'll start work mid-September, and then in a few months possible get an apartment. Add in a brown-eyed boy in my future and I'll be ready to fly!

Born to Fly- Sara Evans

I've been tellin' my dreams to the scarecrow
'Bout the places that I'd like to see
I said, friend do you think I'll ever get there
Ah, but he just stands there smilin' back at me

So I confessed my sins to the preacher
About the love I've been prayin' to find
Is there a brown eyed boy in my future, yeah
He says. girl you've got nothin' but time

But how do you wait for heaven
And who has that much time
And how do you keep your feet on the ground
When you know, that you were born, you were born to fly

My daddy, he's grounded like the oak tree
My momma, she is steady as the sun
Oh you know I love my folks
But I keep starin' down the road
Just lookin' for my one chance to run

Yeah, 'cause I will soar away like the blackbird
I will blow in the wind like a seed
I will plant my heart in the garden of my dreams
And I will grow up where I'll wander wild and free

Oh, how do you wait for heaven
And who has that much time
And how do you keep your feet on the ground
When you know, that you were born
You were born yeah
You were born to fly

Graduation!!!

Class of 2010, 18 of the newest Physical Therapist Assistant Graduates!

I graduated today. Wahoo!!!!

Last night I had a party with friends. Pizza and volleyball! Good times!
(Nadia and Crissy, friends from middle school)

Today I looked at my countdown on my laptop. Notice the number of days remaining.

My parents gave me a fabulously clever graduation present. Can you tell what it is?

I feel on top of the world. Job opportunities around the corner, the future is BRIGHT, and I can't wait to be part of it. Bring it!

Can't Save The World!

Sorry, but my cape is at the dry cleaners and my tiara is being polished, so I am unavailable to save the world at this time. Check back with me after I recover from my long month of July and my soon to be career-prep busy August is over!
