STRONGER THAN THE BOYS

That is just one of the man things I did this weekend. Shooting at Wild West in Liberty Hill. A picture says a thousand words

I also ate at Chuy's with friends
painted and bedazzled wooden letters for my nieces
ran 5 miles
ate BBQ
dog sat the only dog in the world I like...Rishi!
lounged by the pool and read Les Miserables
had a delicious late night breakfast for dinner with a dear friend
helped run a 12 year old Hunger Games Bday party
prepared a Relief Society Lesson
baked cookies for Relief Society
took a nap
went to a dinner group
and did a little service...

All in two and a half days.

Meu Pai

 Orlando Kelm,
a.k.a meu Pai,
a.k.a Dad...

He is pretty much my hero.

He loves me more than any other man in the entire world!

...And I pretty much have him wrapped around my fingers

And he wouldn't have it any other way.

Although there is one other woman he loves even more then me. Here he is in Venezuela declaring his love for all the world to see...

He also taught me to love Brazil.

There is NOTHING my dad can't do!
Te amo muito pai!

Kelm Kitchen Part II

New Kitchen Light!
New "Bar"

Cabinet knobs... little Texas Lonestar flare with barbed wire around it.

New fan above the table

Lights under the cabinets. I sure do love that backsplash!

Finally the microwave is in! And check out the crown molding on the cabinets!

Still waiting for the glass for the cabinet on the left.  Check out the sleek trashcan.

Men vs. Boys

I watched "Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves" the other night. It has always been one of my favorites for some reason.

This time however, I had some random observations about myself.

The movie came out in 1991. I was 11 years old. I remember when I first saw it I thought this kid was "so cute" (and the scene when he is almost hung, I was horrified!) ... he is a non-famous actor that I couldn't even find and adult picture of (I didn't try hard).

In 1991 he was 15 years old....36 today.

Then there is Christian Slater. In 1991 he was 22, today 42. When was was in my late teens and watched the movie I found him the more attractive of the men in the movie.

Then there is Kevin Costner. In 1991 he was 36, today he is 57. When I watched the movie this weekend, I think I found him the most attractive.

Guess attractiveness changes with time... As I've aged, my tasted has aged with me. As it should be right?
But still I find it interesting.

Any comments?
