Valentines 2013

This is the blog where I brag about how fabulous my life is.

Am I in love this Valentines Day? No, not with the love of my life that is. (Not sure when he is going to show up.)

However, there are plenty of other types of love in my life.

Last night for example I arrived at home these on my porch.

It's from my dear, sweet mother. I sure do love her. I count myself very rich to not only have a fabulous mother-daughter relationship with her, but a friendship!

Then there is this...

It was a piece of chocolate cake that a patient delivered for my coworker and I. First this man delivered a single chocolate dipped strawberry to each of us from himself and his wife (both patients). They are a cute retired couple. He then presented the cake to us, and said he just couldn't resist. He said he didn't get the one that said "Hot Lips" because that would not be appropriate. Ha!
Mr. D is a fun one!

I also had a half dozen chocolate dipped strawberries delivered from an anonymous patient. No hint was given, I think he just wanted to brighten my day.
I guarentee you it was another "old man". It did brighten my day.

Want more? I had a visit from two women from church who dropped off flowers and a balloon. It was so sweet. I barely know them!

To celebrate how much I love myself, I treated myself to Yoga/Pilates after work and a steamed lobster tail.

Theme of the day- No pity party! This is not a day to sigh or whine at my marital status... So to end my evening I write this blog as I babysit. It's an easy job, the child was asleep when I arrived. I've got my laptop, a book, and a yummy dessert.

Happy Love Day world! Life is good...
