Orlando's Forest

Forest...Dad is creating a forest in our backyard. He recently added the Hibiscus and we have been getting several flowers each day. The plant is 3 different plants wrapped together, so the flowers are all different colors.

We also had our Easter Lily bloom the week before Mother's day. We planted it after Easter 3 years ago and each April/May it comes back.

Stay tuned for more summer blossoming!

Mini Summer Break

It is only Wednesday and I have enjoyed my mini summer break to the max!

I kicked off the break with a pool party with my classmates. How fun it was to relax by the nice water, yummy snacks, and no homework looming over our heads. June 1st it all starts up again, but for now, we rest!

I spend Monday running around doing errands, Tuesday playing with the family, and today I worked a bit in the morning and relaxed all afternoon.

Yesterday we went down to San Antonio to see the Alamo. You may ask- haven't you lived in Austin for 19 years? Yes we have, however Michael has no vivid memory of going, so we had to remedy that before he represents Texas in Australia. Now he can "Remember the Alamo". Here are some last pics ofthe family for the next 2 years. Dad left for Brasil today. Michael head to the MTC next week. In a month we will have Mom and Dad in Brasil, Michael in Australia, and Devin and I holding down the fort in Texas.

I dedicate this post to Michael- I love you and I am very proud of you. Australia is one lucky country!
