Candy Village 2014

I know the world is waiting with anticipation on the Kelm family  Candy Houses. This year we did a little something different. We created one large village on a giant piece of cardboard.

Adam of course helped taste test the candy beforehand.

Michael built this cool out-house!

He also made the town well.

Mom made the village Mexican Restaurant

I made the watch tower. Perhaps inspired by Lord of the Rings.
Devin made the shopping mall that used to be a bowtie store.

Dad's is the bottom right-hand corner, the village activity center.  It was fun to change up the tradition.

Wondering how we destroyed them this year? Well we wanted Adam to destroy it in King Kong fashion, however we got home one afternoon to find a bizillion bees buzzing around the village in the backyard.

Nature got the candy this year. Then the rain and the frost. Next year Adam can have first dibs!
